As the Head of Sales & Marketing China, you will assume an executive position and be responsible for all sales andmarketing affairs. This not only includes the management of the local sales team according to the strategicrequirements of the VON ARDENNE management board, but also the revenue generation by VON ARDENNEcoating systems according to certain forecasts and growth plans. You will be responsible for the development and thesubstantial orientation of the sales structure in China. Beyond that, you will identify appropriate sales partners andprepare agreements with sales agents together with the Regional Manager.
One of your main tasks will be to boost the sales of VON ARDENNE coating systems in China and to adapt theproduct portfolio to the domestic market situation. You will identify and promote strategic alliances with industryleaders and key customers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the correct handling of personnel matters withinthe sales team. In coordination with the General Manager of VON ARDENNE VACUUM EQUIPMENT (Shanghai)Co., Ltd., and the German headquarters, you will manage the professional development of your employees. You willimprove and standardize important reporting processes.
You are also responsible for communicating the results andcomparative figures gained from these reporting processes.As the Head of Sales & Marketing China, you will be the main contact person for the VON ARDENNE headquartersand the counterpart to other subsidiaries within VON ARDENNE´s international sales network regarding sales andmarketing affairs in the China region. You will work closely together with the Regional Manager and the SalesDirectors at the headquarters. You will report to the General Manager of VON ARDENNE VACUUM EQUIPMENT(Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and the Head of Sales & Marketing at the headquarters.
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or related fields. You have worked as a successful salesexpert in plasma technology, vacuum coating or related technologies/applications for at least ten years and you arefamiliar with working in an international organization dealing with industrial goods.
Furthermore, you have very good management skills and take care to constantly show good work ethics.You are a good team player with excellent communication and a self-confident manner. You will work at the interfacebetween our customers’ management and the VON ARDENNE Head of Sales & Marketing, Regional Manager, SalesDirectors, Product Managers, Business Development Managers and sales engineers at other VON ARDENNElocations.
This position requires excellent analytical and strategic planning skills and comprehensive knowledge of salesprocesses. You should be familiar with the technology roadmaps of key industries, like architectural glass, electrochromic glass, photovoltaics, display manufacturing, battery and OLED.A strong preference for strategic thinking completes your profile. Beyond that, a good command of spoken andwritten English and Chinese is mandatory for the position.Please
