ARCHITECTURAL GLASS

We manufacture modular inline coaters using a compartment design and can rely on many years of experience in large-area glass coating. VON ARDENNE is the market leader in LowE and Solar Control production equipment for jumbo and 100" formats.

SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES

For solar technologies, VON ARDENNE develops and manufactures coating systems, which can apply special layers and layer systems, such as highly-reflective layers or contacts, on different materials. These layers play a key role in the production of wafer-based and thin-film solar cells, of solar absorbers as well as of CSP mirrors and CSP receiver tubes.

Concentrated Solar Power

VON ARDENNE has entered the CSP technology market with the development of a machinery platform for coating receiver tubes with highly efficient absorber layers. Alternatively, highly reflective mirrors can be manufactured by coating flat or curved glass substrates or by applying the roll-to-roll method for coating metal strip.

Solarthermics

We provide equipment for the deposition of absorber layers on the respective collectors for this growth market.

ELECTRON BEAM APPLICATIONS

VON ARDENNE has been manufacturing electron beam systems since 1959. They can be applied for melting and refining as well as for coating and heat treatment processes.
