05.07.2008 - Grand opening of assembly hall

In January 2008, the foundation stone was layed for the new industrial building at the Dresden-Weissig business park. The first stage of constuction was completed in the first week of July. One of the two assembly halls which are currently erected at the VON ARDENNE production site at the Dresden-Weissig business park was handed over. The hall disposes of a useful area of 1.700 qm. It was opened with a familiy-and-friends day with more than 2,000 employees and guests participating last weekend.

With photovoltaics being on the rise and architectural glass coating equipment making inroads, VON ARDENNE could open new markets in Europe, Asia and the U.S. As a result, order intake reached a dimension unimaginable quite recently. Considerable investments for further expansion are planned for 2008 and subsequent years to answer the steadily growing demand in VON ARDENNE products.
