Corporate history
In 1991, VON ARDENNE Anlagentechnik GmbH emerged from the Dresden Research Institute Manfred von Ardenne. This institute was established by Manfred von Ardenne under the legal form of a private company in 1955. It existed until German reunification employing at last 500 staff members.
The new company today is one of the leading suppliers of electron beam and plasma technologies including the appropriate equipment.

In 2007, we commemorate the 100th birthday of our founder and name giver Manfred von Ardenne.
The values impersonated by him are still alive in our company. Scientific curiosity and a systematic search for innovative, technological solutions that are economically feasible, lead us continuously to new products that help save energy and resources or strike new paths to produce energy.
